In Technical Tyer, we’ll look at questions fly tyers ask themselves and ponder while drinking beers at the bench.  Most importantly, we’ll try to answer those questions by applying the scientific method.  This means that we’ll try to frame these questions in such a way that we will be able to test them, thus yielding observations.  And from these observations, we’ll try to formulate answers to our original questions.  In most cases, this effort will end up prompting more questions.  And that is the nature of science.  The questions we ask lead us to answers.  Those answers lead us to more questions.  Just when we think we know something, we realize how much we don’t yet know.
